Meet the Eastside WA Volunteers
Leah and Robbie met climbing big walls in Yosemite back in 2015. A shared love for adventure and later, animals kept them connected. While Leah was always a cat person, Robbie officially joined the club after helping rescue five kittens off the streets during a year abroad in Korea.
Now living in a home they built in Leavenworth, WA, they share their lives with two cats; Voodoo, a fluffy tortie, and Hashbrown, an orange tabby. When they’re not rescuing cats, they’re volunteering as firefighter/EMTs, building homes, or finding their next outdoor adventure.

Lulu from Normandy Park
Lulu found herself about 45 feet up a skinny fir tree in her yard—likely after being chased by a dog or coyote. Luckily, she was safe, calm, and ready to come down when we arrived. This sweet girl greeted her rescuer with purrs and didn’t mind the ride down one bit!

The Great Tigger Chase
Tigger, a tabby from Shelton, turned his rescue into a game of tag—leading Tom between three tall trees before finally giving in at the top. Once he ran out of options, he decided making friends wasn’t so bad after all.
